New Starter Process - First Steps
Welcome to all the information and steps you will need to complete your child's registration to secure a place on the ADO Mini Explorers Preschool waiting list.

STEP ONE - VISIT
♦ DICSUSS / VISIT THE PRESCHOOL
If you would like to book a viewing before registering, please call our main office on 020 8850 6778. Please note viewing times are limited and we currently have a waiting list to view the preschool.
STEP TWO - REGISTRATION
♦ COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION FORM
Simply click on the big orange button below to complete the Registration Form. You will receive an email confirmation, which includes our handbook. Please read through the confirmation email and pay special attendtion to the next steps. Please continue with the remaining registration steps.

STEP THREE - DEPOSIT
♦ PAYING THE DEPOSIT
To secure your child's place on the preschool waiting list, a deposit of £50 must be paid. The deposit is refundable within 28 days upon completion of your child's notice period. It is not our normal practice to refund this deposit should you wish to remove your child's name from our preschool waiting list. Please contact the office directly first if you would like to discuss placement options before paying the deposit.
We only accept bank transfers for the deposit payment. Our bank details are as follows and can be found on Page 7 of your Handbook, attached to your auto registration email.

♦ Once paid, please inform us by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org If you do not let us know the date you have paid, this may result in delays in your payment being allocated and the space reservation.
STEP FOUR - TERMS & UNIFORM
♦ TERMS & CONDITIONS AND UNIFORM OPTIONS & POLICY
You are now required to accept and agree to our Terms and Conditions. These terms include acceptance of our Uniform Options and Policy. These must be agreed before your child starts Preschool.

When joining the ADO Preschool, your child will be required to wear 3 compulsory items of uniform, including an outdoor suit to ensure they are kept warm, dry and comfortable during their outdoor activities and education. We use a specialist garment to protect your child from the cold and wet and is flexible enough to make sure they enjoy un-restricted movement. Your child is also required to wear a uniform polo shirt and a sweatshirt. To find out more, you can view the Uniform Options by clicking the link below:

Payment and arranging the additional elements for your uniform for your child is required prior to their start date.
Once you have purchased your Mini Explorer's uniform, please ensure all items are labelled (including all clothing, footwear, hats, gloves, bottles, bags etc). We have got together with mynametags.com to offer you the perfect solution. You can also help us to fundraise by purchasing name tag labels through mynametags.com by quoting 83560. STEP FIVE - CHILD INFORMATION
♦ PLEASE COMPLETE AN IMPORTANT FORM WITH YOUR CHILD'S INFORMATION HERE>
This information will be used to assist your child to have a smooth start to their preschool sessions. The information provides various finer details for your child's Key Worker and our team in order for us to prepare and understand your child's requirements. The form requires completion before your child's starting date.
STEP SIX - FEES & PAYING
♦ PLEASE PAY FOR YOUR CHILD'S FEES
If you are starting mid-way through a half-term, please contact the office to request the payment amount which is needed the week before your child’s start date at the latest.
If you have finalised your starting process before the relevant term-half term has commenced, you will be sent a standard fee invoice from our systems. Please add our email addresses to the safe senders list to ensure our system invoices are not sent to your junk folders. The fees deadline is noted on the top of the invoice. Please email email@example.com with confirmation of your preschool fees payment. Please note you will not be sent a confirmation of payment receipt for each invoice however we will chase late payment of fees accordingly.
STEP SEVEN - FUNDED HOURS
(Only Applicable To Parents-Carers Utilising Government Funded Hours)
Parents-carers are required to complete and sign a local authority funding form for the hours they wish to use with us. Please print and complete the funding form and take it with you on your first settling session at preschool. A funding form is required each academic year your child attends. If hours/details change throughout the year, you may be required to complete a new form for each term.
♦ PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE PARENT-CARER DECLARATION FORM, FROM OUR ONLINE LIBRARY HERE>. This is a Word Document that will be ready to download from your browser. There is one declaration form for 2 years and one for 3-4 years.
If you are applicable for 2 year funding and have a 2 year code, or are applicable for the 30 hour funding and have a 30 hour code, please contact the office with the information so they can verify before your child's start date.
You will need to provide proof of identity and date of birth when you return this form to the preschool (the first time only). This can be in the form of Birth certificate of the child or a child passport. We also require proof of address which can be a utility bill dated within 3 months, for proof of address. Please hand the relevant declaration form and show the forms of ID to your child's Key Worker.
Once all your steps have been completed and the online forms have been received in our offices, our ADO Mini Explorers Preschool Administration team will take over and send you a personal starter email with your child's starting Key Worker.
